The Montgomery Chapter of the AIA particpates in the following school programs teaching youth about the importance of architecture.

Draw Montgomery Art Competition
A juried art exhibition open to ALL students in grades 6-12 in South Central and Southeast Alabama. Entrants are encouraged to use the wealth of historic buildings and architectural styles found in and around the River Region including South Central and Southeast Alabama. Look carefully at our city and creatively interpret what you see. Convey awareness of good design and its impact.


Divisions are grades 6-8 and 9-12.
